Depressed Goat Went On A Hunger Strike Because He Missed His Best Friend
Earlier this year, animal welfare officials seized dozens of dogs and three farm animals from the home of a hoarder, KTVU-TV reports. The animals were living in squalor and taken to a variety of animal care facilities.
A 10-yr old goat named Mr. G and his unlikely best friend were separated for the first time ever when they were taken to different animal sanctuaries in Northern California, in order to save their lives. But Mr. G decided that life wasn’t worth living without his lifelong best friend by his side.
At Animal Place’s Rescue Ranch adoption center, he refused every treat he was offered, even sweet grain and apples — favorite foods for a goat. Check out what happened next!
